Les Jardins de La Fontaine

One of the first public parks in Europe, the garden was designed in 1745 at the feet of Mt. Cavalier and around the Nemausus (the ancient protective god of the city) spring, where ancient ruins were found. The French Gardens emphasize the ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Diana and the Tour Magne, from which one can get a breathtaking view of the city, as well as various vestiges of ancient art.

Concerts are organised.
The gardens are open from 7.30 pm to 10 pm and until 6.30 pm in winter.
