Foundation Louis Vuitton Paris

On October 27th, 2014 the museum opened its doors after five years of works. Some argue it could be the most beautiful museum of France.

The Louis Vuitton Foundation is a vessel of glass and steel. It is 46 meters high, 150 meters long and more than 7000m²: Its size is very impressive with its twelve sailcloths of glass! This masterpiece is signed by the American Frank Gehry, the architect of Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Financed by LVMH, the museum is dedicated to contemporary art.

From the inside of the museum, you can see the Defense, the Eiffel Tower and the Bois de Boulogne through eleven galleries and three terraces. At the top, a breathtaking spectacle awaits visitors.
Furthermore, the museum has an auditorium between four hundred and one thousand seats in order to welcome meetings, seminars and shows.

This masterpiece of architecture is unique and modern so as to enable general public to discover artworks in an exceptional place.
