Bateau Mouche ride Paris

The famous “bateaux-mouches” (Paris riverboats) have been used since the 19th century to carry goods and sometimes passengers along the rivers and canals.

The first "bateaux-mouches" arrived in the capital on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of 1867.

They were designed by the shipbuilder Michel Félizat. He built thirty copies in his workshops that were located in Lyon, in the district of "la Mouche".

It was only after the Second World War that Jean Bruel purchased one of the last boats from the Universal Exhibition to organize tourist trips on the Seine with the "Compagnie des Bateaux Mouches".

Since the inauguration of his new boat in 1953, river tourism has drawn millions of visitors in the city of Paris.

This is a unique and special way to discover Paris. Indeed, it is an opportunity to enjoy a pleasant boat ride and admire the monuments of the city.

You can also have lunch or dinner in music on the bateau mouche

Discover Paris in a magical way, especially when the night begins to fall and the lights start to shine.
