Regards de Provence Museum Marseille

The “Regards de Provence" museum is an impressive modern structure dedicated to art.

The "Regards de Provence"Foundation was created in 1998 by a collector couple from Marseille. In 2013, it moved in the old Sanitary Station of Marseille to transform it into a museum. This building had been abandoned for the last forty years and it could have been destroyed in 2009.

Today, it hosts varied classical, modern and contemporary art exhibitions. It is also possible to discover the history of this significant building, labelled Heritage of the 20th century, through videos, sound and art animations.

This site covers a total area of 2300 sq.metres, including 1215 sq. metres divided into four areas dedicated to exhibitions. For the visitors' convenience, there are several reception areas, a shop, a bookshop and a restaurant with terrace.
