FRAC Marseille
On the occasion of Marseille Provence 2013, the Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) has got new premises. Enjoy its rich and accessible program.
Since 1982 each region in France has its own Regional Contemporary Art Fund in order to promote art with the financial help of the Regional Council and the Ministry of Culture.
The FRAC of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur is located in Marseille and offers a wide range of cultural activities through exhibitions, meetings, artists' workshops, trainings or conferences.
In the Joliette district, the new building could be compared to a cultural laboratory. The implementation of projects is encouraged by the presence of artists and art professionals in the heart of an unusual and adapted local. The space is playing with glass and lights. There is also an outdoor space with a garden, a patio and a pond.
