Botanique Brussels
The « Botanique » was opened in 1984 in Brussels. It is the French Community Cultural Centre. It offers many concerts, festivals and exhibitions.
The “Botanique” is located in the botanical garden in Brussels that was inaugurated in 1829. It used to be a green-house for exotic plants for the Royal Horticultural Society.
Today the Botanique consists of several showrooms and theatres where great bands and artists have performed such as Moby, Oasis, the Arctic Monkeys or Franz Ferdinand.
The Botanique used to be dedicated to plays and dance shows but it is now specialised in music and plastic arts remaining open to other artistic fields’ productions (cinema, theatre, dance…).
Sometimes, the Botanique uses the Royal Circus performance hall to welcome concerts for example during the “Botanical Nights” festival ("Festival des Nuits Botaniques”) in May.
It is an annual event that presents 40 concerts during 10 days through a quality program opened to new trends.
The Botanique is one of the busiest Belgian cultural place.
Enjoy the Botanique’s rich program and varied cultural activities! We would be happy to welcome you in our 4 star hotel Brussels close to the city centre and public transport. You will enjoy its large and comfortable rooms, nicely decorated in a contemporary style.
