Musée Rodin
Housed in the Hôtel Biron, a ‘hôtel particulier’ dating from 1730, the Rodin Museum exhibits the works and collections of the sculptor Auguste Rodin.
Grévin Museum
The Grévin Waxwork Museum was built in 1882 thanks to Arthur Meyer and was intended to represent the celebrities featured in the contemporary newspapers.
The Louvre Museum
The most visited museum in France and one of the richest and most famous museums in the world! You can visit the permanent collections which are divided into eight sections: Near Eastern Antiquities, Egyptian Antiquities, Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities, paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, prints and drawings and Islamic art. Many temporary exhibitions are also shown.
Bateau Mouche
The famous river boats have been about since the 19th century and were used to transport goods and sometimes passengers along the rivers and canals. Today the bateaux-mouches enable you to discover Paris from the Seine. Departures from the right bank at the Pont de l’Alma, Pont d’Iena and Pont Neuf.
Paris Plage
In 2011, Paris Plage will be open between 21 July and 21 August. A wide range of family events will be organised and many of the activities will be free.
