Saint Marie Cathedral

It is the oldest monument in Toulon which should not be missed! It was founded in the XIe century in the heart of the old medieval city.

Expanded in the middle of the XVIIe century to be 50 metres long, it was, in the beginning of the XVIIIe century, the unique parish church of Toulon. Today it has 5 chapels and a shrine of different styles. One of them is equally famous by the name of Notre-Dame de la Seds and du Siège.
It is open to the public every day from 8 a.m. to mid-day and from 2.30 pm to 7 p.m. except on Sunday afternoons. Organ concerts are organized here by other lyceums.
