Opera
Do not hesitate to reserve a show in the Opera of Toulon that is the biggest opera of the Province!
Built in 1862, it accommodates 1800 standing spectators and enjoys exceptional acoustics! The opera is located in the heart of the Toulon at the Victor Hugo Place (Place for Theatre).
The interior with its red and gold complexions, richly decorated paintings, stuccoes and bronzes are typical Napoléon III style. It's programmed for the variety of the shows: ballets, operas (especially lyrical), recitals, symphonic concerts, operettas, plays. It is programmed for the young studying students.
The Opera became historic place since 1991.
The Opera is opened to the public only during the Day of the ROF and the heritage celebration days in September.
