Museum of Contemporary Art in Marseille
The MAC is to be found in a 1970s building.
Its large airy and light-filled rooms welcome temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art from the 1960s to today, a room devoted to Jean-Luc Parant, the Ernst Goldschmidt Centre of Documentation which counts more than 25,000 works of art (only open to the public from Tuesday to Friday) and a cinema room which organises temporary projections of old films over the year.
