Musée de l’histoire de (History Museum of) Montpellier/ Notre Dame des Tables Crypt

Located under what is today the Place Jean Jaurès, in the foundations of the former Notre Dame des Tables church, this museum traces the history of Montpellier through the history of the church, using visual and sound media. An audio guide is provided.
Musée du vieux Montpellier (Vieux Montpellier Museum)

Housed in the Varennes residence, this museum presents a collection of objects from the history of Montpellier from the Middle Ages through to the 20th century.
Pharmacy and Chapelle of Mercy (Miséricorde)

The last apothecary built in Montpelier, this 18th century pharmacy features some 300 ceramic pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries. The chapel, erected in 1830 is decorated with paintings illustrating the history of Montpelier’s charity.
