The Eiffel Tower

Monuments

In 1887, Gustave Eiffel won the competition to build a tower for the Universal Exhibition in 1889 – the Eiffel Tower.

The tower is located at the edge of the Champs de Mars Park on the banks of the Seine. It measures 324 metres and consists of 10,000 tonnes of wrought iron.

The Eiffel Tower fits perfectly into the Parisian landscape and has become the most emblematic symbol of Paris.

The Champagne bar awaits you at the top of the tower. On the second level you will find the famous “Jules Verne” restaurant, with internationally renowned chef Pascal Féraud at the helm of the kitchen. On the first level you can discover the fashionable “58 Tour Eiffel” restaurant or the famous “Eiffel Tower Buffets” which are open from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.!

A visit to the Boutique ensures that you can take a souvenir away with you.
