Along the banks of the Seine
The first thing you should do in Paris is take a stroll along the wide banks of the Seine! From here you can discover Paris' most prominent monuments such as the Notre Dame, the National Assembly, the Musée d’Orsay, the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Concorde, as well as the Île de la Cité, Île Saint Louis, the Statue of Liberty Island, the 35 Parisian bridges and numerous gardens.
Around 4 km of traditional bookshops in green kiosks stretch from the Pont Marie to the Quai du Louvre, pleasing book lovers and collectors.
Make the most of the calmness of the banks by going for a jog, a picnic, a walk or a bike-ride - alone, as a family or with your partner.
At night the banks are illuminated by the Parisian lights which are reflected in the Seine. Dancers frequently come to train on the esplanade in the romantic atmosphere.
