26th Centenary Park Marseille
The 26th Centenary Park is a 10-hectare public park in Marseille. Do not hesitate to enjoy this haven of peace during your stay in the city.
This green space was built on the site of the old Prado station. It was inaugurated by the Mayor of Marseille, Jean-Claude Gaudin, on June 23, 2001.
Some remains of the station have been conserved. It consists of four thematic gardens, the Provence garden, the Oriental garden, the Asian garden and the African garden. They are a symbol of the rich cultural diversity of Marseille and of its opening on the world. You will also enjoy a beautiful view on Notre Dame de la Garde and on the Saint-Cyr Hill.
The park also has a pétanque ground, playgrounds for children and a large 3000-sq.-meter lake. There are also conference rooms and exhibitions near the park entrance.
