Southern Lights Marseilles
From 24/01/2015 to 06/09/2015
The Museum Regards Of Provence welcome the exhibition “Southern Lights” which brings together artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, all natives of the region, but especially lovers of South.
South represents many things: beautiful sunny landscapes, iconic cities like Marseille, special lifestyles, fascinating lights, a strong accent and beautiful places. Those are what represent South Light’s exhibition. The enthusiasm for this heritage has generated a vast pictorial exposition.
Artists like Camoin, Cauvin, Chabaud, Guigou, Grésy and others express their painting through emotions. Others will paint the tranquility and serenity of the South. Finally, some will prefer pure and vivid colors in order to express their strong attachment to the South.
All these artists have The South in common. This special vision is highlighted by this generation of modern artists working between Fauvism and personal feelings.
This exhibition is present from January 24, 2015 to September 6, 2015.
