Kandinsky and Russia - Brussels

From 08/03/2013 to 30/06/2013

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium welcome the exhibition Kandinsky and Russia, 100 years after its passage in the country.

In total, more than 150 artworks are on display, including a fifty of Wassily Kandinsky and other from Larionov and Malevich. It is a real journey in the heart of Russia of the early 20th century, through paintings and objects. Four main evocative themes are addressed : «Experiencing the art of painting», «Listening to the art of painting», «Amidst nature» and "Kandinsky and mythology".

The painter and founder of the abstract art is also known for his works in many fields, such as engraving, theater, poetry or philosophical trials. Thus, the artist demonstrates a real artistic and intellectual talent, that we can still enjoy through exhibitions like this one !

To enjoy other cultural events in the city with tranquility, we propose our 4 star hotel in Brussels, with its spacious rooms and his contemporary style.
