Humanofolie Marseille

Exhibition Humanofolie in Marseille

From 17/04/2015 to 30/08/2015

Since April 17th, 2015, the sculptor Jean Fontaine is back at the Natural History Museum in the Palais Longchamp with its new exhibition: Humanofolie.

After Zoofolie and Mécanofolie, the artist returns with full-sized ceramic works. They represent hybrid beings, half-man, half-animal, half plant. A kind of dehumanization...

Jean Fontaine carries on his exposure through the limits of human beings and threats of biodiversity.

The works "Transmission of unreason" or "Toufoulcan aux roses" reflect the world in which the human feels capable of anything. Through this futuristic or purely phantasmagorical bestiary, the artist reveals a mockery on humans and mechanics.

An exhibition where the visitors will discover and explore an unusual and incongruous world with a touch of humor and drollery.

The exhibition is open until August 30th, 2015.
