Eugène Boudin - Paris
From 22/03/2013 to 22/07/2013
The Jacquemart André Museum organizes an exhibition devoted to the artist Eugène Boudin, born on July 12, 1824. As a precursor of the Impressionists, he was one of the first to paint out of his studio to produce artworks of landscapes.
Many of them were devoted to beach scenes, especially in Normandy, his native region. No less than 65 of the most beautiful works of Eugène Boudin are exposed for the occasion, from all around the world. While many people come to appreciate the work of the artist today, this was not the case during his career. Indeed, its success is mainly due to Americans who were interested in his work at the end of the 19th century, to the delight of all !
To organize your cultural stay, our 4 star hotel in Paris Madeleine is ideally located just a few minutes walk from the museum. You can also enjoy many other exhibitions near the hotel and his chic and contemporary style.
